Senior Quantity Surveyor

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – SOUTHWEST ENGLAND – PERMANENT – £55,000 TO £71,500

Advanced Resource Manager are currently working with a leading building materials company, who are seeking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is based in Devon for a permanent role!

About You:

• You will need to be educated to degree level in quantity surveying or hold a qualification to HNC or HND degree level.
• Ideally you will hold or alternatively be working towards being a member of a relevant professional body e.g., CICES, RICS
• You will need relevant experience working on general civil engineering projects or working within the construction industry in other sectors.
• You will need to understand/ experience of using NEC forms of contract

What you will be doing:

You will be working in the construction industry, on civil engineering projects. You will be preparing and formulating competent plans for projects ranging from mid to high level of complexity. Key responsibilities for this role will include:

• You will be involved in the preparation and agreements of interim valuations and final accounts

• You will be recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts
• You will be securing payments from customers within specified contract terms
• You will be required to mentor and mange subordinate staff.

This role will be a mixture of site and office based; the site you will be working on is in Devon.

You will be required to hold a valid driver’s license.

The Salary Range on this role is: £55,000 to £71,500 per annum. With this client there are good benefits included with this role such as, contributory pension scheme (3% employee and 6% employer OR 5% employee and 8% employer), car allowance and much more!
