We are looking to employ a tenacious and proactive Material Controller, who demonstrates pride in their attention to detail. The role's primary objective is to ensure the on-time supply of purchased and in-house manufactured parts to support the manufacturing plan. If it becomes evident the plan may not be met, early identification and escalation to stakeholders is required.
The majority of the working day will be within a cleanroom / manufacturing area environment. Daily activities include the review, release and maintaining of work orders and sub-contracted operations. If required, faulty parts will be prepared for return to suppliers.
Material Controllers communicate across a variety of functions. Clear written and verbal communication is essential. The ability to organise, plan and prioritise is required. There will be occasions where it is necessary to work under pressure.
