TRAFFIC ORDER SPECIALIST

Advanced Resource Managers are currently working with a leading engineering design consultancy who are seeking a Traffic Order Specialist within the North of England. 

About You:

• You will have knowledge and application of traffic and parking legislation and other relevant highways legislations in transport.
• You will have a relevant degree or equivalent.
• You will have experience in drafting robust traffic orders within or on behalf of public sector clients.
• You will have knowledge in using spreadsheets and Microsoft applications (computer literate) and be an intermediate user of AutoCAD design software.
• You will have a comprehensive understanding of transportation techniques (Parking engineering, traffic engineering and traffic management orders and project design & delivery).

Within this position you will:

• Provide technical advice to clients and colleagues in relation to complex traffic order queries and provide training to both when necessary.
• Ensure that all projects are managed within their budgets (presenting these at the monthly review).
• Draft high quality work including traffic orders, these will be sent to a variety of clients and schemes across the UK.
• Check and evaluate output and its certification which is produced by other staff members (reports & drawings etc)
• Be the point of contact for projects managed within your unit.

This position is currently open within the North, offices being in either Edinburgh or Manchester. It is a full-time position offering a hybrid working model, working 2 days in the office and 3 days at home (this model will only be available if the company believes you have had all the training that is required to perform)

The salary is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on individual experience. This position also offers a great benefits package including: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, paid professional subscription, flexible working policy, retail discount car etc.
