Are you a Digital Holographic Engineer looking for a new challenge and fancy working for a world leading manufacturer within the Security printing products?
I am currently recruiting for a Digital Holographic Engineer on a permanent basis in Hampshire and want to speak to you!
This role will be paying £25,000- £35,000 (depending on level of experience)
This is a newly defined specialist production role within the Holographic & Diffractive Imaging department. You will be part of a small highly skilled team that is responsible for both the origination of high security holographic or diffractive images and future imaging innovation within this technology domain.
What you will be doing on a day to day basis:
-To be expert in the use and operation of a high resolution (mask-less) lithography system customised to originate holographic & diffractive microstructures.
-To be expert in the use and operation of the bespoke software application for this system which converts graphical design patterns into the exposure data files necessary to write the holographic image structures.
-The routine generation or origination of production masters using to agreed delivery dates or timelines.
-The digital modification of artwork files received from the graphical design department into a format suitable for and compatible with the machines application interface.
-To also directly support and assist senior team members when originating hologram p masters using the alternative methods of interferometric holography.
-Calibration and maintenance of key measurement equipment in accordance with the ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
What you will be expected to know:
-Degree in Physics or material science with some specialism in optical micro-structures, microlithography or photonics. Alternatively a degree in digital process control with demonstrated experience or interest in applying this to a lithography environment.
-Ideally 2-3 years' experience in mask-less photolithography or electron-beam lithography or related digital process control.
-Preferably some practical experience working with lasers and associated optical components.
-Good general computing skills with the ability to right simple VBA macros for using in vector drawing packages such as CorelDraw and write or modify code for open source developer platforms such as Microsoft.NET.
-A strong interest in creating holographic and diffractive security images and products within a multi-disciplinary environment.
