Senior Planning and Controls Manager

ARM are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Planning and Controls Manager to work on a permanent basis with a leading client in the Nuclear Defence industry.
What you’ll be doing
- Enable the P&C team to lead effective Order Book reviews and undertake Supplier Planning assessments (SPA)
- Work with ME, Quality and PM/PI managers to ensure mid-term delivery risks are understood, prioritised and supported
- Provide input into the sourcing strategy and sourcing decisions, helping shape the blueprint for the supply chain
- Manage the SORB supply chain responses to support business impact evaluation (Risk, Inventory, Capacity and Financial)
- Accountable for inventory budget and forecast within their commodities/supply chain value stream
- Manage Planning & Control related change for the commodities/ supply chain value stream
- Utilising the Production System lead the Planning & Control team to ensure that they understood their performance with robust action plans to close performance, process, or capability gaps
- Develop, coach, and lead the Planning & Control team members ensuring their responsibilities are delivered professionally
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience of working as a Planning & Control leader in in a manufacturing, supply chain management, purchasing or logistics field
- Experience of personally delivering and engaging teams in performance improvement
- Strong understanding of ERP principles, business impact and confident in using SAP or equivalent systems to turn data into insight
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry
