At ARM Maritime, we are working with a long-established shipping company that offers multiple services within the maritime industry, including shipbroking for the Project Cargo and Dry Bulk sector.

Our client is actively looking for an experienced and skilled Vessel Operator who has experience with Dry Bulk and Project Cargoes to join their London team. Additionally, you will also be supporting the team on some chartering activities and training will be provided to those who do not have previous experience.

Job Requirements:

• Experienced in Vessel Operations for Dry Bulk and Project Cargoes
• Although not essential, previous Chartering experience or an interest in Chartering would be an advantage.
• Strong background in Post-Fixture Operations 
• The ability to read and understand Time and Voyage Charter Parties and other related chartering, commercial and technical documents.
• The ability to create voyage instructions to Masters’ and appoint port Agents.
• Experience in resolving disputes between Charterers and Owners
• Understanding and management of Hire and Freight payments and evaluating laytime, disbursement account and voyage calculations.
• Must be fluent in English and any other additional language skill is advantageous
• Strong organisational, attention to detail and communication skills
