ARM are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work on a contract basis for a leading client in the Nuclear industry, on an exciting project. 

What you’ll be doing

• Responsible for Electrical design and engineering for specific packages and systems, including:

1. Load Schedules
2. Electrical Power Distribution
3. Cable Containment, Cable Sizing (AMTECH)
4. Drive specification (Direct On Line and Variable Speed Drives)
5. Group Motor Starter Cubicle (GMSC) design
6. Electrical Safety Systems (Emergency Stops etc)

• Producing design documentation as well as checking the work of other engineers & designers.
• Providing technical input and producing technical deliverables
• Adhering to current standards, regulations, legislation and technical developments

What do you need to succeed?

• Degree qualified within a relevant subject
• Experience working within the Nuclear or a highly regulated industry
• The ability to obtain security clearance

Details of the role

• Based in Warrington, with a hybrid working model
• Long term contract, ending December 2023
• Excellent pay rates
