Cloud Security Architect

CLOUD SECURITY ARCHITECT - REMOTE – PERMANENT – £140,000 - £150,000

We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect for a major global banking company which is helping millions of people bank quickly, simply, and securely, for a permanent position to be remotely worked with various offices in London, Birmingham and Sheffield.

About You:

• You will have experience of being a cloud security architect of public and private clouds.
• You will have experience within threat modelling and risk assessments.
• You will have knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD.
• You will have an understanding of SAST, DAST, RASP and IAST.
• You will have an understanding of security building in SDLC.
• Ideally, you will have GCP or AWS Architect.
• Ideally, you will have knowledge of Azure Cloud.
• Ideally, you will have a security certification.
• Ideally, you will have a degree in Engineering, computer science or another relevant field.
• Ideally, you will come from a FinTech/ banking background with experience within DevOps.

What you will be doing:

You will be consulting on designs by providing security assurance reviews through threat modelling and subsequent risk assurance, helping to design robust security for web/mobile front ends and various cloud services, you will also be creating and presenting security architecture strategies and road maps. You will be collaborating with stakeholders to the alignment to cybersecurity strategy whilst maintaining the values of the business.

Predominantly remote, however, if needing to go into the office, the offices are based in London, Sheffield or Birmingham.

The salary range for this position is between £140,000 and £150,000 and will be based on suitability and experience. On top of this is excellent benefits package that includes pension, a generous maternity / adoption / paternity leave package, shares and more.
