Software Systems Assurance Manager

SOFTWARE SYSTEMS ASSURANCE MANAGER – WEST MIDLANDS – 6 MONTH CONTRACT – £650 PER DAY

We are currently looking for a Software Systems Assurance Manager for a leading railway company who are at the forefront of the UK’s future in rail, for a six month contract to be based in the West Midlands

About You:

• You will be able to provide technical support and leadership in software assurance.
• You can work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• You will be able to act as a stakeholder, integrator, and technical manager.
• You will understand cyber security and threat/risk analysis.
• You will have the ability to use software configuration management tools.
• Ideally, you will have experience within the rail industry.

What you will be doing:

You will act as the company’s technical lead for software, and form as part of the Systems Assurance team, as well as, managing software risks through the lifecycle across the programme in accordance with the Software Management Framework.

This position is Birmingham based and is expecting a hybrid working style, with a presence onsite and working from home. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.

The rate for this position is £600 and £650 per day (Umbrella – inside IR35). We can offer PAYE working on this position and rates can be discussed at application.

For our client, we are required to undertake a DBS and reference checks prior to starting. We also can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
