Business Development Executive - Based in Basingstoke - Paying up to £40,000 depending on experience + Bonus and car allowance.

I have the perfect opportunity working for a key client of mine who is an advanced materials technology company, specialising in the design, development and manufacture of metal matrix composite components.
Due to the company's rapid growth they are looking for someone like yourself to join as a Business Development Executive and you will be responsible for securing and servicing new commercial sales contracts and funded projects.
A Little taste of what you will be doing:
-Conducting & supporting market research to identify new commercial opportunities and gain feedback.
-Identifying and contacting new customers and negotiating contractual arrangements.
-Preparing and delivering sales presentations.
-Representing the Company at trade shows, exhibitions, conferences and seminars.
-Assist with preparing project proposals.
-Processing commercial enquires received via the website and other sources.
-Capturing customer requirements and liaising with technical staff to build solutions.
-Customer Relationship Management.
What you will be expected to know and to act:
-At least three years' commercial experience in a customer facing sales role in one or more of the automotive, aerospace, high-end consumer, defence, energy, or industrial sectors.
-University degree or Higher National Diploma ideally in an engineering discipline.
-Experience of component manufacturing or applications engineering an advantage.
-Familiar with writing proposals, project plans and working to gateway management disciplines.
-Knowledge of composite materials and casting processes an advantage.
-Comfortable working under pressure in cross-functional teams to project deadlines.
-Strong reporting, verbal and written communication skills.
-Self-motivated and organized individual with the ability to work on multiple projects.
-Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player.
Due to the nature of the role you will be required to travel within the UK so must hold a full valid UK license and have access to a car - there will be a car allowance on offer.
This role would also suit any of the following: Client Development, Business Development, Account development, Business Strategic, Strategic client development.
