Overall accountability for successful delivery of Quality, Cost and Timing for the Hypercar Vehicle lines
Responsibility for the Hypercar Vehicle Engineering and DVP Coordination
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
" Overall accountability for key areas of Hypercar Vehicle development including:
" Vehicle Engineering Teams
" DVP Coordination
" Day-to-day management of the managers of these areas
" Ensure the relationships between the key areas are functioning appropriately, as well as the relationships between the key areas and other business areas/FSSs
" Provide an escalation path to all commodity team leaders within the department
" Ensure all failure mode avoidance activities, commodity planning, design progression and DVP testing is completed to achieve Final Engineering sign off in line with timing constraints.
Qualifications & Experience:
" Extensive experience in whole vehicle Engineering and Development
" Proven leadership experience.
" Excellent knowledge of vehicle/component testing, FMEA, problem solving, appreciation for VFM.
" Excellent mechanical engineering background and a comprehensive knowledge of vehicle design and development.
" Working knowledge of AMPCS / MISSION or similar Product Creation Process.
