Systems Engineer

ARM are recruiting for a Systems Engineer with experience of Phased Array Radar Antenna Development for a permanent opportunity with a defence company in Farnborough.

You will be joining a mature environment, where your contributions will have a direct impact on safeguarding the U.K. at home and abroad.

As a Systems Engineer with experience of Phased Array Radar Antenna Development based in Farnborough, you will be responsible for;

• Working at system level, enhancing and developing models to capture behaviour as accurately as possible.
• Delivering insights into powerful algorithms and capabilities such as self-calibration.
• Investigating implementations and proposing architectures & algorithms.
• Writing Matlab codes and evaluating them in the lab on real hardware.

You should, as a Systems Engineer able to work in Farnborough, have experience of the following;

• Systems engineering.
• Wireless standards, radio, antenna and/or modem architectures.
• Digital Signal Processing.
• Linear and nonlinear programming techniques.
• Matlab, C/C++ & Python would be a bonus.
