Policy Manager

POLICY MANAGER – PERMANENT – WEST MIDLANDS - £40,750 - £61,140

ARM are working with a leading Rail client and we are looking for a Policy Manager to be based in Birmingham for a permanent position.

In order to be considered we are looking for someone with experience within policy development or management from a public sector background, with local authority or central government stakeholder experience. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to hold yourself with confidence in meetings.  We are looking for someone who is politically astute also and has a good understanding of civil service terms and language.

This is a brand new position within our client’s team and will help develop or create policies for the organisation, as well as with stakeholders such as government departments. Working with internal teams to ensure that policy can be delivered.

This position will be based in Birmingham and this can be worked flexibly, so can be a combination of office and home working.

This is a permanent position and the manager is open to consider flexible working hours that include condensed hours or reduced hours, as well as full-time people.

Salary is between £40,750 and £61,140 and is dependent on experience and suitability. This would be pro-rata for those not working full-time.
