Project Engineer - Rail track

PROJECT ENGINEER – TRACK – 12 MONTH CONTRACT

BIRMINGHAM - £370 PER DAY

ARM are working with Network Rail and we are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team in the Birmingham area for a 12 month contract.

In order to be considered, you will need the following skills and experience;

• To have managed design and construction activities for Track Engineering Projects
• Successful relevant experience in building engineering, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas.
• Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ level.
• Knowledge of quality assurance.
• An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work.
• Knowledge of CDM and risk assessment.
• PTS

This role is a 12 month contract to be either home based or in the office in Birmingham, with some site visits too. The purpose of the role is  to be a part of the Track Project Engineering Management team. You will be involved a wide range of track projects varying from minor refurbishment works to major track renewals. You will lead the design and construction integration of track projects with other railway engineering disciplines by facilitating Interdisciplinary Design Reviews incorporating Safety-by-Design into the works.

Pay on this position is £370 per day (Umbrella – inside IR35).

As part of the compliance process, you will be asked to complete a DBS check, along with referencing and other checks prior to commencement of this role.
