Payroll Manager

Payroll Manager – Home Based – Permanent - £75,000 plus car allowance and excellent benefits   

ARM have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a global leading organisation on a permanent basis. This position will also be fully remote working.

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a proficient ‘hands on’ Payroll Manager with proven experience in managing payroll in a fast paced and ever-changing environment

As the face of payroll, you will be confident, communicative and display clear initiative when dealing with senior managers to resolve issues and challenge process.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll for 14,000 employees based across Great Britain and UAE
• Deliver key support to senior management team
• Senior point of contact for query handling in relation to payroll matters;
• Responsible for the collection of all information on overseas employees working in the UK;
• Manage, motivate and develop the payroll team;
• Providing guidance to any applicable company strategy relating to remuneration, tax compliance and digitalisation of employee data.
• Prepare comprehensive and succinct reporting
• Lead the dynamic Payroll team members in line with the corporate principles and legislation
• Develop the Payroll team to deliver an excellent standard of service to all colleagues and stakeholders
• Actively engage with ongoing digitalisation projects to ensure successful and sustainable implementation

Requirements:

• A strong and proven track record of managing a large payroll team in a multi-site environment
• The ability to engage directly with sites, act as an influencer and build solid relationships with multiple levels of stakeholder across the business
• CIPP certification and experience of ADP
• Workday experience is preferred but not essential
• Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to meet conflicting deadlines and work flexibly in a fast-paced and changeable work environment.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
