Procurement Analyst

Procurement Analyst – Public Sector - Bradford – 6 Month Contract - £23 p/h

ARM are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join a Local Government organisation in Bradford on a 6 month contract.

The Role:

To support the Strategic Contract Manager in providing contract intelligence across the Commissioning, Procurement and Contract Management operations throughout the Council.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the statistical analysis of Council and procurement performance data
• Create and maintain key business intelligence for procurement expenditure
• Develop a suite of Key Performance Indicators on the Council’s Third Party Benchmark and report on agreed procurement Key Performance Indicators
• Undertake research and identify options to the appropriate officers that will improve Council and category Key Performance Indicators relating to procurement.
• Represent the Council at regional user group meetings regarding spend analysis,
• Prepare and provide a dashboard report (bi-monthly) to Procurement Specialists key measures including payment terms, spend, supplier counts and new vendor counts.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of procurement is essential with a minimum of three years’ experience in a large, complex organisation.
• Understanding and experience of EU public procurement regulations, policies and procedures.
• Excellent oral, written and IT communication skills.
• Flexible approach to hours worked.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• CIPS qualified or working towards
