Regulatory Compliance Manager
12 Month Contract
Must have current SC Clearance
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Interface with external regulatory authorities where necessary to understand new regulatory standards. (NPA, NAA, and RN's).
- Define and implement a regulatory compliance policy for the Zephyr programme.
- Providing verification to the Head of Product Assurance that all activities required have been properly completed.
- Establishing and maintaining the compliance matrix to provide evidence of compliance in the programme.
- Actively engage management and staff across the Zephyr programme on regulatory compliance.
- Directly reports to the Programme Accountable Manager (AM) for all Compliance Monitoring concerns.
- Delivers a monthly Regulatory Compliance Monitoring status update to the AM.
- Coordinate internal improvement activities relating to regulatory compliance, acting as a 'Change Agent' to coach and steer improvements within the programme.
- Conducting and/or coordinating training at all levels.
- Assists the Head of Product Assurance on all ISO 9001 Compliance requirements as required.
- Updates the Product Assurance Team at a weekly meeting on Regulatory Compliance status.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Solid and related experience with demonstrable ability to achieve results, ideally established in a previous Aircraft Maintenance, Design, or Flight Operations environment.
- Strong understanding and UK MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP). CFAOS, MAOS, and DAOS).
- Strong understanding of FAA, CASA, EASA, and CAA regulations for RPAS Design, Maintenance, Continuing Airworthiness, and Flight Operations.
- Experience in conducting or coordinating regulatory compliance audits.
- Qualified ISO 9001 / AS9100 Lead Auditor
- Pragmatic approach to ensure scalable application of key requirements to the whole Zephyr business.
- Proven delivery as a change agent with credibility and demonstrated ability to positively influence.
- Experienced working in a multi-function team and coordinating between multiple business areas.
Suitable candidate will have:
- Regulatory Experience within Military or Commercial Airline
- Strong understanding and UK MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP). CFAOS, MAOS, and DAOS
- Significant experience in a similar role, controlling the compliance in accordance with Military, Commercial & Design standards
