Business Development Manager, UK
As a Business Development Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales you will identify growth opportunities, develop and implement strategies to win and increase sales of cyber security within the UK market. Assist in the development and maintenance of company profile and brand in the market place.
The position will be set an annual sales target, determined as part of the annual sales planning process. This target will be an integral part of the KPI agreements and expected achievement.
Role & Responsibilities
Initiate and develop strategies for business growth that identify opportunities
Account management of services and diversify service offerings with existing clients.
. Through the provision of specialist knowledge of services, identify and develop new and/or growth to enhance revenue growth
. Develop, negotiate and complete proposals, tenders and/or sales opportunities identified above.
. Ensure that the appropriate business development contracts are identified, and relationships developed and maintained.
. Comply with requirements in relation to work procedures, record keeping and other administrative issues.
. Conduct training and/or mentoring for internal staff on sales lifecycle and services, as required.
. Keep abreast of developments in cyber security and the IT industry as a whole.
. Undertake study or training to enhance and broaden skill levels, as required.
. UK and international travel may be required.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
. Ideally, holds a graduate or post graduate qualifications in Cyber, technology or similar.
. At least 3+ years of sales experience in B2B environments preferably in cybersecurity or technology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with the ability to liaise at all levels both internally and externally.
. Exceptional negotiation, influencing, planning and organisational skills.
. Identifies opportunities and issues, proactively acts and follows through on work activities to resolve or capitalize on them.
. Exemplary service delivery skills including project planning and time management and the ability to work to strict deadlines under pressure.
. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, ethical behaviour and commitment to the values of the organization.
. Ability to adapt behaviour and work methods in response to changing conditions.
. A positive self-starter with ability to motivate others with an ability to lead and work within a team to achieve quality focused results.
