Network Infrastructure Manager - Basingstoke
£75,000 - £90,000 + £7,800 car allowance and 30% bonus

Do you have exposure to managing budgets in-excess of £3 million?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a Network Infrastructure Manager on a permanent basis in Basingstoke.

What are they doing?
At their HQ in Basingstoke, they are embarking on a large IT Operations Programme to bring several IT services back in-house; including hiring over 40 new heads.
What do they need?
A Network Infrastructure Manager who will be responsible for the voice and data networks that connect all company locations and provide voice services to all Head Office and Call Centre Staff.
What will I be doing?
Providing leadership of the network technical design resource; network project delivery manager & L2-L4 support teams (escalation management; service reviews; governance of design & risk)
Managing 3 direct reports
Accountable for Planning & Roadmap for Data & Voice Networks, including ongoing refresh and enhancements of platforms in line with Enterprise Architectural standards
Accountability for implementation of data network & voice infrastructure, including technical debt remediation and ongoing enhancements
Definition of scope of third party contracts (both operational and project change SoWs)
Primary contact for 3rd party vendors/partners
Managing off-shore suppliers
Managing a £3M Opex budget and a £4M Capex budget
What will I bring?
Proven experience in leading a Data & Voice Network functions
Proven experience working within a 24/7 IT operational environment
Proven experience coordinating taking a lead role with at least 2 reports
Technical expertise across either MPLS and Ethernet WAN technologies (Cisco) or Avaya voice technologies
A good understanding of End User Voice technologies - e.g. Skype
Knowledge of Network Security
Proven experience managing 3rd party, off-shore service providers
Comfortable working-with and communicating with business and IT staff at all levels
£7,800 car allowance, up-to 30% bonus, Private Medical Cover, Pension and much more
