IT Service Operations Manager - Basingstoke
£60,000 - £70,000 + £5,340 car allowance and 20% bonus

Do you have exposure to managing outsourced, 3rd party service providers?
If so, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a IT Service Operations Manager on a permanent basis in Basingstoke.

What are they doing?
At their HQ in Basingstoke, they are embarking on a large IT Operations Programme to bring several IT services back in-house; including hiring over 40 new heads.
What do they need?
An IT Service Operations Manager to undertake a dual role; responsible for both leading a small IT Service Operations team and personally undertaking Major Incident Management and Problem Management.
What will I be doing?
As a team leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the whole Major Incident Management process, including the resourcing/shift management of the team, and accountable for the quality of communication around Major Incidents to the Business & IT Stakeholders
As a Major Incident and Problem Manager, you will be directly responsible for the co-ordination and facilitation of high priority incident resolution by engaging a variety of support teams & vendors
Driving Service Management best-practice and ITIL process compliance across the business
Be able to work rotational on call 24x7 (incl. weekends and bank holidays)
What will I bring?
Proven experience working within 24/7 IT operational environment and managing IT Operations teams
Proven Major Incident Management experience with significant expertise in large regional companies
Proven experience coordinating taking a lead role with at least 2 reports
Sound understanding and experience with service level agreements and associated metrics.
Enterprise IT experience and a good working knowledge of the broad suite of IT technologies and technical environments
Exposure to managing 3rd party and/or off-shore service providers
Exposure to ITIL and ideally an ITIL Certification
£5,340 car allowance, up-to 20% bonus, Private Medical Cover, Pension and much more
£60,000 - £70,000, depending on experience
