Are you an organised Administrator with experience in the Manufacturing/ Construction Industry?
My client is an expert within the smoke and climate control, solar shading and external louvers and are looking for a Document Controller/Administrator to join their team in Petersfield.
The purpose of the role is to support the Technical and CAD team by making sure there is smooth transition through the project lifecycle with the project documentation, technical submission, commissioning and completion documentation.
What you will be doing:
-Use a variety of document portal websites to download and upload drawing and design information, such as Conject, Aconex, 4Projects, DocElite, Asite, Skandocs, Dome and Epin and update the Document Register as required.
-Develop new standard templates for documents.
-Ensure all relevant project information is up to date and stored and issued to the correct recipients (internal and external).
-Ensure clients are supplied with correct information as quickly and efficiently as possible.
-General scanning and copying of documents with a focus on a paper free project environment.
-Any other duties as required by the Operations Team.
What you're expected to know:
-2+ years of work in a similar role
-Knowledge of the construction/manufacturing industry
-Experience of dealing with internal and external customers
-Basic understanding of AutoCAD.
-Experience of BIM systems.
