Service Desk Analyst

Working within a Government organisation an opportunity for a Service Desk Analyst has arisen in order to provide support by telephone to internal and external customers.
What will you be doing?
You will have the ability to resolve technical problems by telephone and work within a team to resolve day to day IT issues but also to identify and highlight recurring problems in order to diagnose longer term solutions.
The role will involve:
* Answering queries around hardware, software, network & telecommunications systems
* Support internal and external customers to diagnose IT problems
* Use the existing database records to diagnose and resolve issues - escalating where necessary
What will my background be?
You will be a customer-focused Service Desk Analyst with proven 1st line support experience across large IT Systems.
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will have solid IT troubleshooting skills in order to deal with a wide range of different processes and systems.
Technically it would be desirable if you have experience with ITSM Support, VPN/Remote Access, Mobile device and Networking.
Experience of working within an ITIL environment would be beneficial.
This is a permanent position based in Whiteley and candidates must be willing and able to obtain SC Security Clearance.
