Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer
Salary: up to £37,000
Working hours: 37.5hrs per week
Would you like the opportunity to work for a fast-pace going company, well this is the company for you. My client has managed to take Manufacturing and Design to New heights. My client is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to take it to next level.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will actively promote a world class Health, Safety and Environmental friendly world culture; Act as a key driver of change within the business, they will identify & deliver Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company procedure.
" To analyse and deliver initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the business through methodologies such as Six Sigma, Root cause Analysis, 5 Why Process, 5s and SMED
" Create a costing plan in order to demonstrate savings and waste reduction
" Plan, Manage and coordinate small projects
" Review plant procedures, processes and inefficiencies within the business and consider cost effective solutions
" Analysis of downtime and consider solutions and methods of improving efficiency
" Liaise/ influence production departments to facilitate effective solutions, ensuring that all parties are informed and are working together in order to deliver and achieve results
" Ensure that initiatives for improvement are robust with evidence documented in preparation for presentation to appropriate Managers
" Encourage on going education of all employees by promoting a continuous learning environment Ensure that Health and Safety and Quality is not compromised

" Familiar with conducting data analysis
" Ability to analyze impact and assess priorities
" Strong change management and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate at different levels
Skills and Experience
" Candidates will come with a background of improvement and lean implementation.
" The role requires a pro-active individual with a proven track record of driving change ideally within a manufacturing environment where efficiency,reducing waste and improved productivity is key.
" Knowledge/affinity with Lean Manufacturing and six sigma is essential (preferably certified to a green or black belt level)
