I have a role for a Procurement Director on an exclusive basis with a global Life Sciences organisation based in the South East of England.
This is a newly created role following growth and expansion and there is now a need to centralise an existing procurement/supply chain function.
You will be responsible for strategising the procurement process for both Direct and Indirect procurement, developing a centralised procurement process, negotiating contracts for goods and services, ensuring due diligence and supporting local offices on a global scale.
The ideal profile will be a procurement expert who has a demonstrable record of implementing procurement processes, change management, emotional intelligence and strategic thinking. It is essential your experience comes from a Life Sciences background or similar.
You will be need to be prepared for occasional travel throughout Europe and North America.
Experience of procuring laboratory instrumentation/automation would be highly desired.
Base salary is open/dependant on experience. There will also be a 20% Bonus and Benefits available. Remote working is possible for one or two days a week once established in the role.
