Part II Architectural Assistant – Winchester - £26k to £32k+
Our client, an award winning Architectural Practice based in heart of Winchester, are seeking a Part II to join them on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part II in the early stages of their career to join a design focused practice that can offer the help and guidance to really develop your talent working toward your Part III.
Situated only a short walk from Winchester Railway station and the vibrant Town Centre itself they are looking for a Part II with at least one years’ experience, at either Part I or Part II level, to work on a broad range of projects in the Education and Residential sector. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of UK building regulations and statutory requirements, with prior experience producing technical drawing with your previous practice.
Reporting to and operating closely with the Project Architect you will be working on a broad range of projects from £200,000 to £5,000,000 in value. With over 50 staff based across two offices they pride themselves on having a very flat hierarchy, offered a truly collaborative approach which will in turn present you with the opportunity to take the lead as your career advances.
Key requirements you will be expected to demonstrate
To be considered for this role they are looking for a RIBA Part II qualified Architectural Assistant who can demonstrate the drive and ambition to contribute to both project and practice activities and is looking to work towards their Part III. You will need to demonstrate a confident proactive approach and be a highly organised team player. As an ideas driven Studio they are looking for people with a real sense of creativity.
With a major focus on BIM within the Practice you will be a confident Revit user, able to demonstrate consistent use across all project stages. With a strong design focus you will have both the graphic and technical know how to communicate design ideas across a range of mediums including CAD, Sketch up and Adobe Photoshop, as well as demonstrate first class freehand drawing skills.
