Senior Account Manager - I.T. Managed Services - Cambridgeshire Region

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER - Cambridge, Northampton, Peterborough Region

£35-£40K Salary - Double OTE & Benefits

Role in Brief

The Sales role  is carrying responsibility for a piece of the group sales plan. The individual is expected to take part in planning and marketing activities to drive the generation of leads as well as the conversion of those leads into profitable wins.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales individual with strong core sales skills and experience of sales processes to join and add value to a growing, ambitious and friendly organisation. 

The responsibilities fall into the following areas;

" Defining a personal Plan - Working alongside product & marketing individuals to execute against a sales plan that is ambitious yet achievable, incorporating sales lead generation, approaches (SEO / PPC / Events etc.) and proposition creation and refinement.

" Winning Deals - Through personal drive & commitment the sales person will be self-motivated to achieve targets, taking a lead role in customer engagement and campaign execution.  

" Solution Design - The salesperson will be expected to engage with other members of the team to design & commercially price solutions that are attractive to clients. 

" Solution Commercials - ensuring the proposal meets the commercial constraints of the client and can be delivered profitably.

" Solution Presentation - articulating the company's technology, roadmap and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.

" Pipeline tracking & reporting - The salesperson will be expected to communicate through tools & verbally the state of their pipeline and make proactive recommendations to ensure the target is achieved. 

Key Responsibilities

Incorporating;

  • Meet or exceed Revenue and Margin target as set and agreed with Sales Director
  • Manage and Drive Revenue from named account base 
  • Lead Generation and management of your pipeline funnel
  • Identifying upgrade opportunity in base
  • Arrange and attend client review meetings 
  • Ensure AR is current 
  • Become the face of the company when attending new business opportunities
  • Event Calendar
  • Proposition Identification
  • Demands of others
  • Use Tools and Methologies as specified by Sales Director

 

Experience Required

>5 years directly relevant sales experience.

Experience of presenting business benefits analysis, identifying the true ROI of implementing technical solutions.

Can demonstrate ability to adapt approach based on different customer types / markets. 

Proven track record of achievement against target.
