System Engineer involved in the development and delivery of Radar Electronic Warfare Systems. The Systems Engineer has responsibility for a subsystem technical solution, which includes technical assurance of suppliers' products and liaison with customer, users and other relevant stakeholders.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge
" Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering or engineering related discipline.
" Experience applying Systems Engineering methods on defence systems engineering development projects, including requirements development, modelling, design review, verification and qualification
" Good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels within the organisation and externally
" Cost and Schedule planning awareness
" Candidate will require SC for this role but the line manager has confirmed the individual can commence on BPSS clearance. The line manager has stated that the role requires access to UK Caveated information, therefore the candidate will require to have either sole or dual UK nationality.
" Requirements management and verification planning using IBM DOORS
" Electronic Warfare domain experience
" Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability and exercise substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.
" Plan own work to meet objectives in accordance with company processes.
" Make decisions that contribute to project success
" Select appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications

" Plan, schedule and monitor work to meet time, quality and cost targets in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.

This is an office-based role using display screen equipment, working full time hours which can often be in a demanding environment, with occasional travel throughout the UK and abroad.
