We are currently looking for a Channel Sales Executive/Manager to join our Sales team. We are a fast growing, award-winning 'mini-multinational’ company with offices all over the world. We develop the world's leading software for rotating machinery and electro-mechanical systems to enable simulation-led design, and we work with the world’s major automotive, motorsport, aerospace and renewable energy companies.
The Channel Sales Executive/ Manager is responsible for managing all facets of business development, with a focus on sales revenue and lead generation. Channel Sales executive/Manager is involved in the liaising between their organisation and subsequent channel partners to maximise the utility of the partnership.
Setting up/improve international channel sales management process together with the Head of Channel Management.
Implementing channel sales/marketing plans set out by the Head of Channel Management.
Assist the Head of Channel Sales to identify and reach out to new potential channel partners.
Keep contact details up to date and ensure all partners are adhering to their partner program requirements.
Send monthly updates to partners.
Working closely with sales teams within the international channel partner to train and advise.
Regularly meeting with counterparts with partner organisation.
Monthly reporting on sales KPI’s within channel partners.
Working to sales and revenue targets as set by the Head of Channel Management.
Giving feedback to the marketing team on the success of sales promotions.
Addressing customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
Skills & Experience:
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
Previous experience of driving engineering software channel sales.
Solid organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Team player who can also work independently
Has worked in an account management, sales or customer/partner experience function
Good administration skills – Outlook/Excel/Powerpoint/Salesforce
Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales.
Professional sales training would be an advantage but not essential.
