If so, we have a fantastic opportunity available for an IT Delivery Manager on a permanent basis in Oldbury.

What do they need?
An IT Delivery Manager to oversee and take full accountability for all aspects of the delivery lifecycle, from idea inception through to implementation, ensuring strong management control over risks, issues and approved budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
What will I be doing?
You will build and maintain the capabilities required to meet the current and future needs of the organisation at an effective price point. The role is pivotal in managing the delivery performance and quality of in-house systems development.
Leading, defining and managing a backlog of change for prime dispatch/scheduling and associated IT capabilities
Ensure that any backlog(s) of change is/are well defined, prioritised and communicated so that management has visibility and confidence in the change that is sequenced for implementation
Ownership of the standard delivery artefacts for delivery management, including the Jira backlog, issue list, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) and standardised communications schedule
Responsible for the improvement to delivery and implementation through applying stronger governance, delivery and deployment management principles and processes
Design and deliver IT work packages, taking ownership for the full development lifecycle, including timelines, creation and maintenance of detailed delivery plans which are aligned to project deliveries
What will I bring?
Hands-on experience of the full Software Delivery Lifecycle
Experience of managing IT deliveries in complex (i.e. multi-project, multi-system) environments
Prior management, supervisory and/or team leadership experience
Experience of managing vendor relationships would be beneficial, ideally with an offshore component
Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
£5,340 pa car allowance, 20% bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance and much more
