Architectural Technician / Technologist – Worthing - £24k to £30k+
This well regarded AJ100 Architectural Practice based on the South Coast are seeking an Architectural Technician to join their business. The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will be working alongside a Senior Technologist on a range of medium to large scale mixed use and residential projects. You will be responsible for the production of working drawings packages, plans, section elevations, schedules and detailing, working closely with others in the team throughout all RIBA stages.
With close to two years plus experience you should be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of building detailing and modern construction materials and fully proficient in AutoCAD.
As Revit users’ prior working knowledge of this would be ideal however they are able to provide full training on this software to help build on your existing knowledge. This will therefore offer an excellent platform to help develop your career and drawing skills to the next level.
With an exciting range of clients you will work on a variety of projects across the divisions including Residential, Education, and Public realm. Key requirements you will be expected to demonstrate
To be considered for this role you will have a sound knowledge of the current Building Regulations, NHBC / LABC Warranty Guidance and associated housing standards.
Producing drawings on a daily basis AutoCAD skills are essential, with prior knowledge of Revit beneficial.
