Based in Farnborough the role is an exciting opportunity where the ideal candidate will require excellent communication and relationship building skills, with previous experience of complex technology development projects.
Tasks and Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for Managing the the delivery of activities on time, cost and quality, providing support and direction to the team.
To develop and implement project plans and manage multi-disciplinary / multi-national teams, budget, schedule and risks required to scope the integration of the design into HAPS.
To deliver mandated project reviews and reporting in accordance with HAPS Business processes.
To implement Risk and Opportunity management in accordance with HAPS Project Management processes
You will be qualified to degree level, or equivalent working experience, ideally holding a recognised PM accreditation.
Have a track record of successful delivery (defined timescales, requirements and budgets) for technical and commercially complex projects.
Holding strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence subordinates, peers, superiors and partners.
Strong communication skills, being able to providing regular and detailed written and verbal reports and presentations to stakeholders.
Confident co-ordination and management skills, ability to motivate others.
Demonstrable ability to operate strategically, identify and embrace new technology and changes whilst controlling project scope.
Experience of UAS or Space system solution architectures.
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials, structural loading calculations in the context of aerodynamic forces and aero-elastic behaviour over a large flight envelope, structural component test methods, qualification and acceptance test criteria;
Knowledge of electronic system design, software delivery process and acceptance test and qualification criteria with a willingness to travel
