Architectural Technician / Technologist – Central Bristol - £30k to £38k+
My client is a multi-award winning architectural practice with over a dozen offices situated across the UK and overseas. Due to their continued success the Bristol office are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to help reinforce the team.
This multidisciplinary company offers a complete range of services including Architecture, building consultancy, master planning, landscape and interiors, across a network of UK and international offices. The Bristol office is made up of around 50 people and due to a strong pipeline of projects they are actively seeking a Technician / Technologist to join them asap.
The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will take responsibility for the production of working drawings packages, preparation of feasibility studies, sketch designs, specifications and reports.
Working as part of the Architectural team you must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of building detailing and modern construction materials. Under the direction and guidance of the Project Architect you will help drive the integration of technical information and statutory requirements into the design and production drawing. Experience of Education or Residential projects is desirable, as is a proven ability with Revit as you will be working with this on a daily basis.
With an exciting range of clients you will work on a variety of projects including Residential sector, New Office Fit-Out schemes, Transport, Technology, High end Student Accommodation and Higher Education facilities. With a recent growth of their Education workload, with new projects on the horizon, a past track recording in this sector would certainly prove helpful.
Key requirements you will be expected to demonstrate
To be considered for this role you will have a sound knowledge of the planning process and building regulations and be educated to at least HNC / HND level in a construction related discipline.
Producing drawings on a daily basis you will have in depth knowledge of UK building regulations and first class Revit skills.
