Technical Leader – Automation
Salary: £45,000 – 50,000 + Car
A small automation and robotics business are looking for a strong technical leader to join their award-winning team and deliver a number of customer projects as well as oversee the technical aftercare of their long-standing customer base.
As a technical leader, you will be responsible for a number of project simultaneously from receiving the initial order and translating this in to finished project, ready to commissioning on-site at the customer’s facility. From a technical standpoint, you will have complete technical ownership of the control systems, drives, PLC/HMI and install/commissioning of projects and these will be both new product line installation and upgrades to legacy systems. From a strategic standpoint, you will be responsible for developing the technological roadmap for ensuring the business remains at the forefront of the industry and they are known by their customers for delivering quality.
Ideally, you will be currently working within an automated environment with special purpose machinery or bespoke integrated robotic applications i.e. pick & place, palletising, packaging or similar.
