Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea and to keep our crews safe. Our configuration team helps make this happen by making sure that the boats, buildings and equipment our crews need are delivered and supported correctly and effectively. This needs careful control of our documents and records and we’re looking for the right people to help us do that.
Strong team players with an eagerness to engage and work as part of our multi-disciplinary teams in Engineering and Asset Management, supporting production of our new assets or maintaining those already deployed around the coast.
We like to respond quickly to the changing needs of our teams in the factories and around the coast so good communication, time management, flexibility and prioritisation are a natural part of who you are. The ability to remain calm under pressure and able to problem solve, to ensuring the integrity of our data, will be essential.
Having an awareness of ISO 9001, experience in an engineering environment and knowledge of an asset lifecycle will help you understand and develop this role. You will need to be a confident user of Microsoft applications and have experience using configuration software, and if you’re familiar with Microsoft Dynamics AX then that will help too.
Change is the norm we are always striving to improve, so you will have the opportunity to proactively contribute to our continuous improvement activities and share your ideas to make a difference and ensure we keep saving lives every day.
We are committed to safeguarding; ensuring the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. We expect all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. The suitability of all prospective employees and volunteers will be assessed during the recruitment process in line with this commitment. This will include relevant criminal record checks being carried out dependent on the eligibility of the role.
