Job Title: Cleat CNC Operator
Working hours 8.00am-16.00pm Mon-Fri
The Cleat CNC Operator will be responsible for production of components from receipt of raw material to issue of correctly processed and packaged finished goods. They will also cover the maintenance of quality standards (including packaging to set specification), and scheduling production to required timescales.
To operate Saws and CNC machines to fulfil works orders. Follow supervisor's instructions ensuring all requirements are met in terms of service, quality and communication.
Ensuring machines and plant are kept clean and any issues brought to the Supervisor's attention.
Check all output meets the required standard particularly in relation to quantity, dimension and appearance.
Pack cleats as required, generate labels and complete relevant paperwork as necessary
Checking paperwork, drawings etc., ensuring records are maintained, drawings are current and procedures are followed accordingly.
Maintain a good level of housekeeping at times, ensuring areas are free of swarf and debris and maintaining a safe clean environment at all times.
Ensure correct use of PPE at all times
Recommend any areas of improvement, particularly in regard to efficiency, productivity and safety.
