Our market Leading Client in Warwickshire is currently looking to recruit a Configuration Administrator, this role will be Warwick based and we are looking for the individual to be someone who can spot errors and look at drawings analytical to identify possible errors, there will be some data input, SCADA experience would be beneficial but not a necessity.
Reporting to the SCADA Configuration Management Lead, we are currently recruiting for a Configuration Administrator capable of identifying & capturing asset data and using this information to recreate schematic layouts. The role requires a degree of speed, accuracy and attention to detail. Main responsibilities will include:
o Playing an active role in the delivery of SCADA(Supervisory control and data acquisition) solutions as part of a team
o Update database including data entry, modification & records upkeep. Ensuring that the relevant database is populated, accurate and available for use by stakeholders.
o Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
o Liaising with stakeholders in determining data configuration requirements.
o Implementing applications that manipulate data to provide information in the formats required by stakeholders.
o Interpreting schematic layouts in order to create operational screens.
oData configuration in line with customer requirements and deployed within a quality assured framework
o Customer liaison and stakeholder management as and where required
o Assisting in periodic reviews
o Creating operational screen layouts.
Business Operations Skills - Experience:
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office
o Good organisation and time-management skills
o Good analytical skills and the proven ability to pay attention to detail
o A degree of accuracy in work practices and ability to cope well under pressure
o A flexible, adaptable and organised approach to work, exercising initiative and working independently as appropriate and as part of a team..
o The ability to create, manage and maintain databases
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
o BTEC in an Engineering disapline or equivalent in an appropriate discipline is desirable. Depth and breadth of experience will be taken into account where these qualifications have not been attained.
o Experience working on databases
o Experience working on SCADA packages.
o Experience of graphical drawing packages.
