Security Sales - London Based - £45k base with double OTE

This is an exciting opportunity for a BDM with experience of the cyber security industry, to join the UK’s premium information security consultancy.
Our BDMs are at the heart of our business. They play a key role in acting as a trusted adviser for our existing customers.
Utilising their knowledge and expertise of all our services, and the security industry more widely, they will drive the business forward; breaking into new markets and attracting new clients.
The role has a strong consultative emphasis. Successful candidates will have a passion for security and will be determined to build strong and lasting partnerships with our client’s. Our sole aim is to help our customers achieve their most important and challenging security goals.
We expect our BDMs to be continually engaging in measurable activities that result in revenue generation. This will often involve exploring outside of normal sales channels/partners and customers in order to generate new business.
Day-to-day, you can expect to be involved in a variety of activities. This could involve: cold calling, prospecting through mail shots, attending meetings/industry events, seeking recommendations and referrals.
We want proactive and conscientious individuals with strong relationship building skills who are eager to generate new revenue for the business, across all of our service lines.

Develop account sales plans and approaches with the Sales Director and Senior members of the team
Meet regularly with Regional Sales Manager/Sales Director to ensure all targets and KPI’s are met
Meet or exceed quarterly targets
Meet all KPI’s
Respond to proposals/RfX requests
Complete internal and external training courses
Personal research for target clients
Attend prospect meetings
Attend client review meetings
Responding to email by close of business same day as email
Track all prospects, leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities in corporate CRM tool
Internal lead handling
Full sales cycle responsibility
Accurate internal administration
Follow all internal processes and procedures
Gather feedback from clients and prospects
Prepare and deliver presentations
Skills and Experience
Degree educated, preferably in a technology related subject or a proven track record in the cyber security industry.
2 years’ experience selling penetration testing, incident response services or strategic cyber consulting.
Demonstrable passion, interest and expertise in cyber security.
Experience with complex business to business technical/professional services sales (in strategic and developing accounts); with sales cycles that range from approx. three to nine months.
Experience of developing account penetration and development strategies. Conducting cold calls, qualifying prospects, leading technical directors in sales and process strategy, delivering sales presentations, closing techniques and developing service and pricing proposals.
Proven tenacity and strategic approach to lead development.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated individual who is also capable of working as part of a highly successful team.
Project co-ordination activities in organizing the delivery and billing of projects.
Effective Contract management through liaising with internal legal teams.
