Field Sales Engineer – Scotland

Are you a sales engineer with a background of selling automation products and looking to work with a market leader who are providing technical sales and consultancy to their customers on the journey to industry 4.0? Our client are a global business with an established customer base across a number of industries and are now looking to take their consultancy offering to the next level.
As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for developing customers within existing well-established markets as well as developing new business with customers in lesser-developed markets, offering end-to-end sales solutions on a range of sensor products. You will also be required to go on-site at the customer and actively sell technical solutions, technical training as well identify any cross-selling opportunities.
Ideally, you will be currently working as a sales engineer within the automation field or as an engineer with some exposure to sales. Either way, full training will be provided to get you up to speed on the full arsenal of automation sensor products.
