If so, my client in Fareham is seeking an IT Outsource Support Engineer on a permanent basis in Southampton.

An IT Service Provider and pioneering business, which provides a wide range of outsourced IT Services to customers across Southern part of the UK.
They pride themselves on building long-term client relationships and providing an exceptional user experience to their customers. Their outsourced IT Support Engineers are at the heart of this ethos, working hand in hand with the customers on-site.
What do they need?
IT Outsource Support Engineer to be responsible for ensuring all IT support is delivered efficiently and effectively in line with company standards. Working closely with the IT Outsource Team to ensure that any service related issues are resolved in line with specific SLA's and to the customers' satisfaction
What will I be doing?
Responsible for provision of first and second line technical support to the customer
Supporting the Outsource Supervisor, Account and Service Managers and Project Engineers with infrastructure upgrades, maintenance and renewals
Undertaking equipment builds and installations as and when required
Using bespoke software to manage, monitor and respond proactively to customer incidents
Ensuring customers are kept informed regarding on-going tickets and effective communication is delivered to the business
Achieving agreed and contracted SLA's
Working with 3rd parties to provide incident support through to resolution with customer specific applications
What will I bring?
Exposure to working on a busy IT Service Desk, support a large customer base and ideally within out-outsourced / on-site capacity
Knowledge of RMM systems and Professional Services Automation
Exposure to VMware, Citrix and Cisco support
Knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012 and Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010
Knowledge of a monitoring tool - N-able, Asigra, Autotask
MCSA & ITIL Certified
