Have you worked in Imports and Customs and looking to work for a hugely successful global automotive company?
Our client is a world leading provider of diesel and gas engines, priding itself on proving reliable and innovative products for its customers. They provide high-quality products for agricultural, industrial/construction, electric power, rental and marine sectors. The company also tailors their product to suit their clients' individual demands.
o Daily operation of the Duty Management System and submission to HMR&C
o Inbound Freight Management and performance reviews (dependant on volume)
o Inbound Freight invoice validation and approval
o Reconciliation of Duty Management Stock to Mainframe system
o Maintenance of Commodity codes and classification of new product (dependant on volume)
o Ensure all import entries are raised/completed/filed by due dates.
o Reconcile the Duty Deferment account (dependant on volume)
o Maintain accurate records for audit and trade compliance purposes
Skills and Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a Technical Engineering discipline (or
o Previous engine hot test experience specifically in a volume manufacturing situation
o Experience of utilising problem solving and root cause analysis tools in a manufacturing
o The ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business and build
strong working relationships
o Ability to analyse complex product and process data to enable process improvements and cycle time reductions
