This client is now looking for an Electric Powertrain Engineer to join their workforce of 78,000 employees worldwide.
Would you like to take on assignments with a high level of responsibility?
Powertrain electrification is an increasingly prevalent within the automotive sector. Your role will be to act as a technical specialist in the area of electrified powertrains. You will represent the brand at technical conferences and customer meetings.
You will also assist in the growth of the business in this area and develop a growing team and facilities to enable the brand to maximise business opportunities available
To develop and maintain a level of expertise within powertrain electrification
To assist in planning of skills and facility requirements required to support the business needs
To support the business development and sales process relating to powertrain electrification
To assist in planning and supervision of engineering projects
To work together with analysis, design, development and calibration engineers
To analyse test results, prepare technical reports and create test plans
To support the design of parts for development testing
To liaise with program suppliers, internal and external customers
To assist with the preparation of engineering program quotations
To assist in the preparation of technical papers and presentations
Responsible for the quality of the test data, results analysis and reporting
Participate in research programmes
Contribute to planning of future research activities

A Degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering preferred)
Relevant automotive role
Professional qualifications as appropriate
Skills and Experience
Sound numeracy skills and good knowledge of automotive electrification
Good computer literacy
An experienced user of MS software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project
Good communication skills
Good time management & delegation skills are desirable
Take ownership and enjoy resolving problems
Possess a trustworthy, reliable and responsible attitude
Have the proven ability to work effectively in a small team
Be adaptable, creative and enthusiastic
Confidence and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to work well under pressure and to strict time constraints
