I am currently working with a large global defence client based within the Oxfordshire area.
Availability for a Capability Development Leader who has had experience with Military Affairs is required for this established military site.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Working on contract for circa 12 months initially, your role will require you to provide support to the client in delivering current A400M tasks, by ensuring the timely and safe delivery and recovery of capable aircraft and crews, in accordance with UK Military and Governmental requirements.
Naturally you’ll maintain and develop a network of contacts based on trust and to foster a good multi-agency working relationship, be confident in providing support to the customer, acting as a facilitator between industry and defence, in all areas of the business.
Providing a steady progression towards unlocking current Airbus certified capabilities which have yet to be realised, through support to Airbus development programs and UK trials activities.
Provide sound advice and support to future capabilities which have yet to be identified, by maintaining an up to date awareness of current military strategy and ambitions and to monitor emerging potential requirements.
Divided into two key focus areas: Capability Development, Trials and Business Operations.
Capabilities will be to lead any military engagement tasks in support of client business, including Marketing & Communications, Media and Military awareness tasks amongst other deliverables.
The successful candidate will be able to hold a full UK SC, and will require a full UK/EU driving licence and passport and be available for travel in support of their role.
