We are looking for a Department Manager to raise market awareness of the companies capabilities and facilities in the area of Catalyst Ageing and Fuels and Lubricants Testing as well as leading a team.
To build new relationships within existing clients, and new clients with both vehicle manufacturers, fuel, lubricant & additive companies, and catalyst ageing in the UK, mainland Europe and worldwide. (UK and foreign travel is a requirement of the role)
To lead high level client meetings, preparing and presenting facility and technical capability, and developing technical proposals where applicable.
Support sales and marketing activities, including technical papers, literature, industry forums and exhibitions.

o To manage the current business and developed new business
o Development of mainland European opportunities both vehicle OEM, Tier 1, fuel, lubricant & additive companies
o Prepare and maintain structured action plans, for both existing and new clients
o Performance measured against KPIs
o Required to liaise with others inside/outside the department in a proactive and reactive manner in order to provide or obtain information to keep people informed so that work is completed effectively
o The job holder will also build relationships and contacts to facilitate future exchange of information.
Required skills and experience
o Good IT literacy skills
o Engineering graduate, or requisite industry experience
o Powertrain engineering/consultancy background
o Extensive automotive industry experience, at Senior management level
o In-depth knowledge of European OEM vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers
o In-depth knowledge of European Fuel, Lubricant & additive manufacturers
