Business Development Manager £20k + £11K commission uncapped

With our software covering a wide area of tools, we've created a 5 step-marketing plan that has seen our customers lead conversion rates go from strength to strength.
Our ideal candidate would be a bright, strong, articulate and outgoing graduate to join our hugely successful Business Development Team and help generate new business sales opportunities in a commission based role to help drive our business forward.
This is a platform role to spring board off once you learn the products and the skills to then move into Field Sales or Account Management based on interest.
Generate qualified new sales opportunities (target 12) with key stakeholders who have decision making authority with the ambition to exceed personal targets, through research, email campaigning, networking and referrals
Maintains a sales funnel of high value opportunities that meet qualification criteria
Develop indepth knowledge of our CommuniGator Solution to be able to pitch and articulate this to customers in a concise and professional manner
Understand competitor solutions to be able to pitch our solution against them
Submit standard sales metrics, eg weekly forecasts, pipeline, funnel, monthly progress and business reports on a regular and timely basis
Maintains our CRM system effectively for opportunity and contact management
Graduate Degree desirable but not essential
Ideally - 1 year + related new business sales experience (but not essential)
New business and appointment setting experience is vital
Possess strong consultative and solution selling skills
Experience in developing excellent relationship and networking skills, working well in a team but also independently
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a good listener
Enthusiastic, competitive, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, and a confident approach to closing business
A desire to understand a product in depth and passionate about communicating customer benefits
