Graduate Electronics / Hardware Engineer
Bristol / South West
We are seeking several Graduate or Junior level Electronics Engineers for a brand new programme based in the South West of the UK.
Are you a technology enthusiast with a real knack for problem solving and adapting quickly to emerging challenges?
The business we are recruiting for is a major defence company, working with National Security on classified programmes - making Great Britain and its allies safer and a more secure place to be.
This is a role that will allow you to really make a difference in the world that’s getting more dangerous every day.
Who are we looking for?
This is a role for the geeks, hobbyists and enthusiasts out there.
You may well own your own electronics lab at home and love tinkering/soldering/board design and bring up of PCB’s.
Perhaps you subscribe to Electronics Weekly and contribute to forums online?
Perhaps you work on your own projects in your spare time, enjoy messing around with Raspberry Pi computers?
Perhaps you love everything to do with electronics, DSP’s FPGA’s and similar technology such as VHDL programming?
You may even love messing about with low level embedded software, hacking code or writing apps for smart phones. We are looking to speak to Software types as well, so if you feel you have a good balance of hardware and software, or you prefer one discipline over the other please get in touch.
Do not worry if you are less skilled in some areas of electronics (or software) than others.
If you have the right personality for these roles that’s the most important thing.
Full training and learning development will be provided, and our client will obtain a Security Clearance for you as well. You will go straight into real world scenarios to work on real problems straight away, alongside industry experts who will guide you.

Please note, a degree in a techy subject is NOT mandatory.

Telecommunications hardware / interest in communications technologies
DSP technology, signal processing or similar
VHDL programming for FPGA’s
FPGA design, test, debug, problem solving, FPGA signal processing
Radios, Mobile phones, RF (Radio Frequency) experience
Please be aware this role will require a UK SC Clearance, so you will have to be a Sole British National to apply.
