We have a fantastic opportunity within a world-famous OEM, based within their state-of-the-art headquarters in Gaydon. You will be a part of a successful and dynamic team where you will be encouraged to take on challenges that arise. You will be responsible for the complete delivery of new and modified audio systems.
-Ideall, a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
-Extensive experience as a Project Manager.
-Proven ability to deliver projects up to £10m in value.
-Proven track record in managing virtual teams and working with matrix structures.
-Track record of delivery in real estate projects.
-Proven negotiation, problem-solving and conflict management skills.
-Extensive knowledge and experience of Program Management tools, standards and principles.
-Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently.
-Able to adhere to deadlines, both internally and externally driven.
-Must be able to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities and have the ability to perform exceptionally under high-stress conditions.
-Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
-Candidates should be familiar with interpreting construction drawings, specifications, contracts, etc.
-Comfortable working in a consultant setting, assuming ownership of projects and performing work with minimal oversight.
-Able to form strong partnerships and client relationships.
-Able to work on own initiative and as part of the wider team.
-Good communication and client relationship skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal and external clients.
-Other project duties as assigned by senior staff.
-Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
Business development phase
-To contribute to business development, preparation of contracts and negotiation strategy.
-To assist in developing scope and schedule for assigned projects.
-To manage real estate projects both pre- and post-contract between £1m and £100m+ in value
-To take responsibility for service delivery.
-To ensure that financial objectives are met and that projects are delivered on time, to cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
-To interact and negotiate with partners.
-To maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
-To support the team in achieving business development goals by preparing information required to help with the expansion of existing relationships or the pursuit of other new business.
-Efficient, well-organised and positive attitude when faced with challenges and realities of construction management and consulting.
-Proficient in computer technology and document management.
-Salary – circa £55,000
-One management lease vehicle and access to another vehicle via a luxury vehicle scheme.
-Up to 5% bonus potential.
-Contributory pension scheme – 3% matched for years 1 & 2, rising to double matched contributions from year 3 to a maximum employer contribution of 12%.
-26 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays.
