Are you a qualified commercial gas engineer looking for your next challenge? Our well-known client has a fantastic opportunity for a refrigeration and air conditioning (RAC) engineer - this is your chance to join a household name brand which values and appreciates its employees.
How you'll make a difference
In addition to building and maintaining those previously mentioned customer relationships with your fantastic interpersonal skills, your key responsibilities will revolve around the installation, routine maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems - such as splits, multi splits, VRV/VRF, heat pumps, cold rooms and chillers.
You'll be working in a variety of environments: food processing plants, hospitals, offices, supermarkets and schools. More specifically, your duties are likely to cover:
What we're looking for
What would make the ideal RAC engineer? A problem-solver who has great team-working skills but can also work independently. Good practical skills are a must, as is the ability to efficiently follow technical plans and instructions. We're also looking for someone that has an excellent understanding of safe working practices. In addition, ideally you will:
You'll be working a 40-hours week, Monday to Friday. It's possible you might also be on rota for out-of-hours emergency work, which could include evenings and weekends.
