An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Technical Administrator opportunity to work at the Stevenage site of one of the worlds largest Defence and Space clients.
The successful Candidate will be working to support of the Material & Planning QA Department:
o Provision of both Technical and Secretarial Administrative support to the M&P QA department
o The post will require a background of working in an engineering, manufacturing or similar industry
o The post will also require a high degree of flexibility, commitment and organisational skills.
Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
o Secretarial support - typing technical documents and reports, arranging and coordinating meetings, taking minutes of meetings.
o Administrative Support - booking travel, updating databases, register time/attendance/holidays/availability, maintaining Project Plans, arranging visitor arrivals and security, arranging catering for site visits
o General office duties - booking meeting rooms, photocopying, scanning, filing, archiving, ordering and maintaining stationery supplies
o Assist in progressing test samples around the site plus obtaining approval signatures for documents
o Working with Process Improvement methodology and implementation
o Defining departmental metrics and Key Performance Indicators
o Production of regular reports
o Proven experience of working in a Technical Administrative role
o High degree of organisational skills
o Good working knowledge of database management
o Documentation control experience
o Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
o Ability to identify and implement process improvements
o Team working experience essential
o Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Contract Location: Stevenage
Contractor Ltd Co. Rate: Competitive per hour
Basic Hours: 37 Monday to Friday
Contract duration: 6 Months initially
