3G LTE Layer 3
My client, a specialist in the design and development of systems for the testing of mobile phones and mobile networks, is currently recruiting for a Lead Software Engineer to join the LTE L3 Protocol Development Team.
The Lead Software Engineer will be in charge of the protocol team focused on the development of high performance Layer 3 Software. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful resolution of technical issues, from analysis through to implementation and customer delivery.
The responsibilities for the Lead Software Engineer will include:
- Design and development using C++
- Acquire technical expertise of the in-house test system.
- Analysis of 3GPP specifications
- Technically liaise with customers to understand their requirements providing significant engineering input.
- Deliver customer requested enhancements
The ideal candidate will have come from a strong commercial full lifecycle software development background having used C++. You will worked with and have a good understanding of 3G wireless protocols, especially RRC.
Exposure to LTE, Microsoft COM via ATL and C++ development in Microsoft Visual Studio will greatly strengthen an application.
