Principal Electrical Engineer
The Principal Electrical Engineer's duties include...
Designing power systems, performing short circuit calculations and protection co-ordination. Specification and requisitioning of equipment, technical bid evaluations. Input to drawing office deliverables. Co-ordinating/interfacing with other disciplines.
The Principal Electrical Engineer also provides technical review of documents produced by others, developing design criteria, co-ordination, interfacing and liaison with clients and vendors. Resource planning and management.
Experience:
The successful applicant will have experience in engineering design of electrical installations associated with petrochemical and process plants. Experienced in the use of power system software, particularly high voltage systems up to and including 33kV.
Quals: BSc Elect Eng or HND/HNC with suitable experience. CEng or working towards CEng status.
